Solo che sin dalla sua nascita (1959), la Mattel ha pensato bene di renderla già pronta per tutte le occasioni, facendoci pensare che esistesse la perfezione e che quindi fosse giusto rincorrere quei canoni di bellezza. 

Chissà quanti complessi avrebbe evitato una foto del genere vista da bambina… io quasi quasi… la conservo e la mostro ai miei futuri figli per sicurezza!

E allora mi chiedo: chissà se anche Valeria Luyanova avrebbe ridimensionato le sue aspettative e modificato i suoi desideri se da bambina avesse visto questa foto. 

Sì perché Valeria, una ragazza russa di 22 anni, si è sottoposta a una miriade di interventi di chirurgia estetica, spendendo oltre 800 mila dollari, per diventare come Barbie. 

Ammetto che ci si è veramente avvicinata… il risultato è davvero impressionante. Giudicate voi stessi…

Luyanova would have reduced her expectations and had such dreams if, as a child,
she had seen this photo.
Yes, Valeria, a 22-year-old Russian girl, has undergone
countless plastic surgery operations, spending over 800,000 dollars to look
like Barbie.
I have to admit that if you get really close, the
results are really impressive. Judge her for yourself…
